This year we want to celebrate two traditions in one night: Halloween, much loved in Canada, and the Day of the Dead, one of the most beautiful celebrations in Mexico and Latin America.
What we’ll do
- Spooky stories in English and Spanish.
- A small community ofrenda: bring a photo or keepsake if you like.
- Pan de muerto and sweets to share.
- Costume contest (totally optional!).
The meeting starts earlier, at 6:00 p.m., and ends at 9:00 p.m. As always, it’s free and open to everyone.
